Do lash serums actually work?

Yes, the one thing we do know for sure, is that both types of lash serums are effective at growing lashes - although the effects will only last as long as you use the serum. Lash serums are incredibly effective at helping lashes to grow so long as they are being used daily. A few months after a lash serum stops being used regularly, lashes will return to their original length and volume.

The negative side effects of lash serums?

The biggest negative side effect of lash serums is eye irritation, sensitising and risk of developing allergies or dry eyes. Most people who use lash serums regularly will develop at least one of these negative side effects at some point - sometimes, it is easily cleared by just taking a 3-6 month break from the lash serum and giving your ocular surface from TLC to restore (like using preservative-free lubricating drops or sprays - like ourPeep Club Instant Relief Eye Sprayand a good, gentle eyelid hygiene routine - like using our Soothing Coconut Eye Balmfor a few weeks), other times, if an allergic reaction has developed you may need to switch to a different lash serum product which uses different ingredients or stop using it completely.
