Technology

Peep Club is built around the Heated Eye Wand™ LED+, a device unlike any other dry eye solution on the market. It was developed in collaboration with leading UK optometrists over more than three years of research, and informed by thousands of conversations with our customers. Here is how the technology works.

Heat

The Wand heats to between 37°C and 45°C in about a minute and holds that temperature while you use it. That matters, because a traditional flannel or mask starts cooling the moment you put it down. The Heated Eye Wand LED+ is clinically proven to be better than a traditional heated eye compress at holding the optimum temperature.

Massage

Gentle vibration improves the effectiveness of the hot compress and helps de-puff the upper and lower eyelids. It works by boosting circulation around the eye area and reducing fluid retention.

Red LED

Red light has been shown to help smooth the appearance of fine lines over time and with regular use.

Green LED

Green light has been shown to calm redness around the eye area.

Amber LED

Amber light has been found to reduce the appearance of under-eye dark circles. Green and amber are newer advances in visible light therapy, and they are what took the Wand from three modes to five.

Designed to be used

No microwave, kettle or hot water needed, so it works anywhere. The metal head is 1.5 times larger than our original and PRO models, there is a built-in five minute timer so you do not have to watch the clock, and it stands upright on its own base. It charges over USB-C with a universal cable that works in any region.

How to use it

Run the Wand slowly along the lower lid, just below the lashes, working from the inner corner outwards. One pass should take about fifteen seconds, and slower is better because the heat needs time to reach the glands. Repeat for two to three minutes on the lower lid, then the same on the upper lid, and switch the LED modes off for the upper lid. That is five minutes per eye.

For the first two to three weeks we recommend using it morning and night. After that, once a day, three or four times a week is enough, though plenty of our customers keep it in their daily routine.
