Any Last Questions?

5 minutes per eye, twice a day to begin with.

  • Heat it: 37 to 45°C, which is 99 to 113°F. Takes about a minute.
  • Lower lid: glide from the inner corner outwards, just below the lashes. About 15 seconds per pass, for 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Upper lid: turn the LED off, then repeat for 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Repeat on the other eye.

Use it twice a day for the first 2 to 3 weeks, then once a day, 3 to 4 times a week.

The wand has a 5 minute timer and switches itself off. That is the timer working, not a fault.

No, but it needs something to glide on. On dry skin it drags.

  • Soothing Coconut Eye Balm: cleanses the eye area and doubles as your slip base.
  • Oil free option: use the Instant Relief Eye Spray instead if you wear lash extensions or would rather avoid coconut oil.

Order of use: cleanse, add slip, then the wand. Keep oil based products away from lash extensions, as oil can weaken the adhesive.

It depends which. Some conditions mean do not use it. Others just mean check with your optometrist first.

Do not use the wand if you:

  • are allergic to nickel. Choose the Nickel-free Wand instead, as the Original Wand head contains a small amount of nickel
  • are epileptic, photophobic or light sensitive, or get headaches brought on by light or electricity
  • are pregnant or breastfeeding. The Wand has not been tested on pregnant women, so please speak to your doctor before using it
  • have or have had skin cancer
  • have a pacemaker, or metal plates or pins around your head or neck

Check with your optometrist first if you:

  • have had any eye surgery in the past 2 years, including cataract surgery
  • have or have had glaucoma or cataracts
  • have a genetic eye condition, or any other sight-threatening eye condition
  • have visited Hospital Eye Services for any reason
  • are seriously ill

Cataract surgery and glaucoma are in the second list, not the first. They are a conversation with your optometrist, not an automatic no.

Three light modes, and they are for the lower lid only.

  • Red (~630 nm): boosts collagen and elastin to soften fine lines and improve skin texture.
  • Green (~520 nm): soothes inflammation and helps brighten the skin.
  • Amber (~590 nm): reduces dark circles and discolouration.

Turn the LED off before you move to the upper lid. Skip the LED modes altogether if you are epileptic, photophobic or light sensitive, or get headaches brought on by light.

Yes, but leave at least 30 minutes between them.

The spray and some dry eye drops can interact and create an imbalanced pH in your eyes, which may sting. Do not mix them. Leave at least 30 minutes between the two, or alternate, unless your optometrist advises otherwise.

2 capsules daily. Most people notice a difference within about 2 to 3 months.

Take them with food. Taking them consistently is what makes the difference, so keep going daily rather than only on days your eyes feel dry.

Yes, they are designed to be used every day.

They are free from all known eye irritants, including preservatives, fragrance, alcohol and wax. The balm is a leave on treatment, so there is no need to rinse afterwards.

One exception: they contain coconut oil, which can break down the glue used in lash extensions and LVL lifts. If you have either, use the Instant Relief Eye Spray instead.

Lenses can stay in for the spray. Take them out for the wand and the wipes.

The Instant Relief Eye Spray is suitable for contact lens wearers and can be used with your lenses in.

Try it for 60 days. If it is not right for you, we will refund you.

Get in touch within 60 days of delivery and we will sort out your refund. You do not need to have kept the original packaging.

The Heated Eye Wand LED+ is also covered by a one year warranty from the date of purchase.
